Ultimaxx 500mm (1000mm) Telephoto Lens Kit for Canon DSLR Cameras

Designed for photographing distant subjects, the 500mm f/8 Preset Telephoto Lens from Ultimaxx is a super telephoto prime featuring a threaded T mount, allowing it to be adapted to a wide variety of camera types. Its optical design is fully multi-coated to suppress lens flare, ghosting, and surface reflections, increasing contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions. Manual exposure control is possible via the direct aperture dial, and manual focus operation permits working with subjects as close as 33' away. A soft lens pouch is included to protect the lens during storage or travel.

The bundle includes several additional accessories. A water-resistant backpack with fully adjustable dividers allows for customized storage and protection. A 2x converter extends the lens's focal length, doubling the magnification. A 3-piece UV filter kit (UV, CPL, FLD) provides various enhancements to imagery. The UV filter absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces the bluish cast of daylight, while also serving as a protective filter. The CPL filter reduces reflections and glare by filtering out polarized light. The FLD filter corrects the greenish cast created by fluorescent lighting.

Also included is a 4-piece macro close-up lens filter kit (+1, +2, +4, +10 diopter), allowing the camera lens to be set closer to the subject for increased magnification. A T-mount to EF-mount adapter enables the use of T-mount lenses on Canon EF-mount camera bodies. Completing the bundle is a lightweight 50" tripod with a 3-way pan head, bubble level indicator, and quick-release plate, as well as a cleaning pen and microfiber cloth.

The Ultimaxx 3PC UV Filter Kit features aluminum-alloy frames, protecting the front lens element from scratches, bumps, or impacts. The UV filter reduces unwanted blue casts, while the CPL filter enhances saturation of skies and foliage by filtering out polarized light. The FLD filter helps correct the greenish cast of fluorescent lighting, though it may not provide perfect color balance on its own.

The 2x Teleconverter from Ultimaxx effectively doubles the focal length of the attached lens, narrowing the field of view. The water-resistant backpack provides a fully padded interior with adjustable dividers for customized storage and protection, including a tripod strap.

The T to EF-Mount adapter allows T-mount lenses, including telescopes and microscopes, to be used on Canon EF-mount camera bodies. The lightweight 50" tripod features a 3-way pan head, bubble level, quick-release plate, and non-slip rubber feet, providing a stable platform for the telephoto setup.
